49. Midlife Conversations, Movies & Cocktails
We’re talking about difficult conversations surrounding the election and COVID and how we (mostly Melissa), put the lessons we learned from our last episode to use.
We move from serious to light with singing in the car, turning our mentions of cheerleading into a game and we talk about our Weekend Watch. We both loved The Queen’s Gambit, Had all sorts of thoughts on the Netflix holiday movie, Dash & Lily and sang a few bars of Terri’s favorite Christmas song, Fairytale of New York (Not Galway Christmas) by the Pogues. Melissa finished Schitts Creek, watched PBS’s Rise of the Nazis https://www.pbs.org/show/rise-nazis/. We’re both watching The Undoing and both think it’s fun to have to wait for something that’s good.
Terri adapted a cocktail and infused her own vodka with chai spices. It was a bit extra, but totally worth it!

Keep sending us your splits. It's been fun to see you all!
